I just saw a story on CNN about how some men pay $3000 to take a three day course on becoming pickup artists.  Then they went out and tried to test the techniques with a hidden camera.  It didn't work.

Of course, it's not like the scientific method was perfectly adhered to, but if you're paying $3000 for something, you'd probably expect to get something out of that, no?  Maybe they should save the money and pay for personality improvement classes.  Those would probably be free.
